Alison Ho, MD

Dr. Alison Ho is a founding partner of Lexington OB/GYN. She values the long term relationship she has with her patients, and also enjoys the opportunity to meet new women of varying backgrounds and ages. Her primary goal is to inform and educate each patient so she can make her own health decisions.Dr. Ho is affiliated with the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where she holds the academic appointment of Associate Clinical Professor. She previously held the same position at NYU School of Medicine, where she completed her residency training. She became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1989.Dr. Ho received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

 


Gary Markoff, MD

Dr. Gary Markoff is a founding partner of Lexington OBGYN. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Lawrence University with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Markoff received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center and completed his residency training at the New York University School of Medicine.Dr. Markoff has been in private practice since 1989. Prior to founding Lexington OBGYN, he was in faculty practice at New York University Medical Center and served as the Chief of Gynecology at Bellevue Medical Center. He became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1990. Dr. Markoff is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is an active member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG).Dr. Markoff is currently affiliated with the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he serves as Associate Clinical Professor. He previously held the same academic position at NYU School of Medicine.

Dr. Markoff is the father of 2 college aged children and lives on the upper east side of Manhattan. In addition to general obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Markoff interests include high risk pregnancy including management of twin pregnancy, as well as, management of fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding, vaginal surgery, and menopause.

 


Anupama Shah, MD

Dr. Anupama Shah graduated Cum Laude with departmental honors, earning her B.A. in Anthropology, from the University of Pennsylvania. She received her medical degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Shah completed her residency training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where she received multiple teaching awards.Dr. Shah joined Lexington OBGYN in 2007. She became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2009. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is an active member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG).Dr. Shah is affiliated with Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where she holds the academic appointment of Assistant Clinical Professor. She previously served as Assistant Clinical Professor at NYU School of Medicine. She has been actively involved in medical student and resident education, serving as mentor and preceptor for physicians in training.

Dr. Shah lives on the upper east side of Manhattan with her husband and two young sons. In addition to general obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Shah’s interests include management of high risk pregnancy, as well as colposcopy and management of abnormal pap smears, hysteroscopic surgery, contraceptive management, and adolescent gynecology.

 


Theresa Linsner, MD FACOG

Dr. Theresa Linsner graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College, and completed her residency training at Lenox Hill Hospital, serving as Chief Resident. She became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2018 and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Linsner believes that providing comprehensive health care to women involves open dialogue and mutual decision making between practitioner and patient. She is fluent in Spanish, and enjoys yoga and knitting in her free time. Dr. Linsner holds an academic appointment at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine as Clinical Instructor and is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).


Samantha Pochert, MD

Dr. Samantha Pochert enjoys providing comprehensive women’s health care with an interest in contraceptive management and family planning. She graduated with high honors from the University of California – Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology from the College of Chemistry. She received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her residency training at Michigan State University/Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners where she served as Administrative Chief Resident receiving the Resident Teaching Award and the Urogynecologic Surgery Award. She became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2019. Dr. Pochert currently holds an academic appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai as Clinical Instructor. She is an active member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG). In her free time, she enjoys yoga and theater.


Neha Y. Sheth, DO FACOG

Dr. Neha Sheth embraces a comprehensive, compassionate care approach to women’s healthcare. Her enthusiastic attitude encourages women to be active participants in their medical management. Dr. Sheth graduated with high honors from University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cellular Molecular Biology. She received her medical degree from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Sheth completed her residency training from Baystate Medical Center-Tufts in Springfield, Massachusetts where she received the Burkman T. research award and several teaching awards from Tufts Medical Center. She became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2018 and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She holds an academic appointment at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine as Clinical Instructor. Dr. Sheth’s interests include vaginal, laparoscopic surgery, and prevention of unnecessary primary cesarean sections. In her free time she loves spending time with her cocker spaniel dog and hiking.


Emily DeLeon, MD

Dr. Emily DeLeon is originally from Texas, where she graduated with a Liberal Arts Honors degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at New York Medical College, receiving the Martin L. Stone Resident Research Award for her quality improvement project focused on increasing vaccination rates in the prenatal population. She became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2019. Dr. DeLeon believes that comprehensive care for women includes education that allows patients to be actively involved in and to make informed decisions regarding their health care. Dr. DeLeon holds an academic appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and she is actively involved in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). In her free time, Dr. DeLeon enjoys going to the theater and the many museums available in NYC.
